One year ago, Duncan Jardine came home from school and told his parents he wanted to switch schools, from English to French immersion.
Earlier that day, he heard a class presentation about joining a new French immersion program. He wanted to visit Montreal and France.
"He walked in the door and said, 'Mom, I'm going to French immersion,' " said Shawna Jardine, Duncan's mother. "I said, 'Yeah, whatever. You're not going.' " NEXT
